NEUROENDOCRINE TUMOUR SUPPORT
Steven, now age 42, fell ill one day 6 years ago and had to be rushed to hospital with stomach pains. He had surgery in the next 24 hours to remove a section of his lower intestine and was eventually diagnosed with NET Cancer. The NET Cancer eventually was found to have spread to his liver which in his case were deemed inoperable.
A year or so later he had his gall bladder removed with keyhole surgery.
Despite the usual daily symptoms and monthly injections of Sandostatin 20mg, he continues to lead a full life and cycles 20 miles or more every day.
